Aubrey Peeples
Aubrey Peeples (born Aubrey Peeples) is an American singer-actress. She has received best-recognition for her performance in Nashville, the 2012 drama in which she played Layla Grant. She also was awarded the prize in Sharknado 2013, where she was Claudia Shepard. She was the lead character Jerrica Jem Benton in the 2015 film Jem and the Holograms. Aubrey Peeples grew up in Lake Mary Florida by parents Wendy and Ashley. She is the older sister of Ally. Aubrey spent ten seasons performing with Orlando Repertory Theatre. Her graduation ceremony from Lake Mary Preparatory School was an address to the class' valedictory in 2012. Harvard University accepted her but accepted her entry two times in order to take on her role in Nashville. Peeples was a character in Drop Dead Diva (2009) Burn Notice (2007) Austin & Ally (2012) Grey's Anatomy (2005). She was in television films Ace Ventura Jr. Pet Detective (2009) and The Good Mother. In the second season, she was portrayed by Layla Grant in the Nashville drama. In the year 2019 Peeples spoke about her bipolar disorder during an interview with NKD Magazine. Indiewire identified Peeples on September 14, 2014, as being one of America's best young actors.
